Lower ride height and flat underbody

The Nissan LEAF takes aerodynamic efficiency to another level. With a reduction in overall ride height of 10mm, compared to the previous generation, and a continuous flat underbody, the air provides less resistance. All so you can enjoy benefits, like more range.

Wind-diffusing side mirrors

Side mirrors can be a real drag on efficiency, not to mention the wind noise they typically create. That's why the LEAF's wind-diffusing side mirrors are designed to slice through the air with minimal resistance.

Aerodynamic Spoiler

The way the air trails off the back of a vehicle can have a major impact on aerodynamics. The LEAF's innovative rear spoiler not only adds style, but it smooths the air as it flows over for maximum efficiency.

Lower Diffuser

Just like the rear spoiler, air trailing off the bottom of the vehicle can also put a damper on efficiency. The solution? A lower diffuser specifically designed to help the LEAF move more easily through the air
